Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the PD Cycling Club website and registering for Le Tour de Weston or any other club events, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
Event Registration & Participation
Eligibility
To participate in Le Tour de Weston and other PD Cycling Club events, you must be at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent. You must be physically capable of completing the event and assume all risks associated with participation.
No Jersey, No Ride Policy
All participants in Le Tour de Weston MUST wear the official event jersey during the ride. This is a mandatory requirement without exception. The jersey is included with your registration. Participants not wearing the official jersey will not be permitted to start or continue on the course.
Waiver Requirement
All participants must sign the Liability Waiver and Release form as part of the registration process. By registering, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of the waiver.
Payments & Refunds
Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store your complete credit card information on our servers.
Registration Fees
Registration fees include entry to the event and the official Le Tour de Weston jersey. Fees are non-refundable except as outlined below.
Refund Policy
- Full refund: Cancellation more than 60 days before the event
- 50% refund: Cancellation 30-60 days before the event
- No refund: Cancellation less than 30 days before the event
- Event cancellation by organizers: Full refund will be issued
Sponsorship Payments
Sponsorship payments are non-refundable once the sponsorship agreement has been executed and benefits have begun to be delivered.
Prohibited Conduct
When using our website or participating in our events, you agree NOT to:
- Provide false or misleading information during registration
- Transfer your registration to another person without authorization
- Use the website for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the website
- Engage in any conduct that could damage our reputation
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of PD Cycling Club or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
"Le Tour de Weston" is a trademark of PD Cycling Club. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.
Event Modifications
PD Cycling Club reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel any event due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather conditions
- Natural disasters
- Public health emergencies
- Government restrictions or regulations
- Safety concerns
In the event of cancellation, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or provide refunds as outlined in our refund policy.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PD CYCLING CLUB AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND VOLUNTEERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OUR WEBSITE OR PARTICIPATION IN OUR EVENTS.
Our total liability for any claims arising from these terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PD Cycling Club, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with your use of our website, participation in our events, or violation of these Terms of Service.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Broward County, Florida.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this website. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
